Lighting Unite
This hardcore lighting unit design project explored the impact of lighting on mood and emotions within the home environment. The project focused on manipulating brightness and light quality to create specific atmospheres, recognizing the profound influence lighting has on human perception and experience within a living space. The goal was to design a lighting solution that could adapt to various needs and evoke a desired emotional response
Task
My contribution involved designing and constructing a 3D wooden lighting unit. Each component was individually designed and then assembled into a cohesive structure. This process included developing detailed 3D models, creating mock-ups for visualization, and building a functional prototype to demonstrate the lighting unit’s aesthetic and practical application within a residential setting.
