Catiest
Catiest explores the creation of effective and harmonious shared living spaces for both humans and their feline companions within the home environment. The project focuses on maximizing the effectiveness of living spaces by integrating pet-friendly design elements that enhance the shared experience for both species. This involves considering the unique needs and behaviors of cats, such as their preference for vertical space and scratching surfaces, while seamlessly blending these elements into aesthetically pleasing and functional human living areas.
Task
My role in this project involved designing a modular 3D product constructed from wood. I individually designed each component, meticulously planning their assembly to form a cohesive whole. This process included creating detailed 3D models, generating production-ready mock-ups, and constructing a functional prototype to demonstrate the product’s practicality and aesthetic integration within a household setting.
